I'm a 37 year old fandom nerd with eclectic tastes. Kids please be polite and just avoid my blog as I am an adult with adult interests. I really dig borderlands
@hankgreen This lesson is both the hardest and most important to learn when disabled. Therapy and my friends helped me internalize it.
This may be a temporary disability for you but it's a disability. Looking to the disabled community can help you find tips & tricks for living while sick.

After reading Your Bandages, Your Bullet Holes, Like Mine, I had to paint this piece of Andrey and Peter inspired by it. https://t.co/h3OUq7j9nu
If you like the Stamatin twins I feel its a must read.
@Sasspiria I agree on so many levels. What bugs me almost as much as when they deny certain kinds of pets too.
If you have a small apartment you shouldn't have a big dog, but then there are duplexes that say no pit bulls, you know one of the sweetest dogs around.
don't say it don't say it don't say it don't say it don't say it don't say it don't say it don't say it don't say it don't say it don't say it don't say it don't say it don't say it
@Sasspiria One time without knowing I was talking to a regional manager for an Applebee's franchise I said "The food is over priced and bland, and you only go there because you can drink enough to make dealing with your racist grandmother tolerable."
@ZullieTheWitch I view it like this.
A skin cell and a nerve cell are completely different entities. They can die, grow, or multiply without affecting each other. Zoom out they are the same body, and all you changed was perspective.
I think Radagon and Marika can be interpreted similarly.
@ZullieTheWitch I double checked the terminology. (Practicing Buddhist but not a scholar) Nondualism is what I'm referring to. Two things can be completely different and completely the same simultaneously. Different groups have different interpretations of this conseapt.
@Sasspiria I mean it's true, about a lot of things unfortunately. Like there are things women have said or done I disagree with, and then every comeback is so vilely sexist it's like.... >=|
Anyway I guess if you're interested I can always use help. https://t.co/RYeLesS3gx
More importantly though if you live in the US write to your representatives about protecting and increasing benefits to Social Security Disability. That will help everyone.
#disability The most frustrating thing as someone on disability is when we got COVID reilef checks my quality of life shot up.
There are things I needed for years that I finally got, and I felt safe.
Now we are no longer getting them I live disabled 2k under the poverty line.
I need to pay my phone plan. If I pay $75 that's 3 months, but a year would be $180. That would save me $120 a year! Which doesn't sound like much, but it really is a lot with what I have!
