sorry to break it to you but you literally have to face your fears and slaughter them. otherwise you will live a small life that you do not want. you literally have to view your biggest fears and attack them head on. you have to fall into the abyss to find your way out. the easy path does not exist. there is no get out of jail free card. you have to allow yourself to die a spiritual death over and over again in order to reinvent yourself into the person you are actually supposed to be. and you have to be painfully honest with yourself and the people around you. it's horrible but it's truly the only way.

When I was a kid, the boomer motto to my generation was “just go to college. It doesn’t matter if you don’t know what you want to do, just go.”

So many did just that. Most taking out huge loans and the actual % who are using their degrees are abysmally low. Now my generation is one ridden with debt, almost impossible to buy a home, and the very same generation that insisted on them doing what they did, chides them as being lazy. Then it gets worse, it’s not bad enough they call them lazy, they actively sabotage them too.

Let's be honest, most of America didn't stay up for the @nuggets game last night. Hell, I barely made it. But when they wake-up, they'll see the Nikola Jokic box score and think, "Oh he missed the triple double." But what they don't notice (few do) is the ridiculous efficiency with which he plays. He attempted 19 shots. He made 16 of those 19. Compare that to SGA, who also took 19 shots last night and made nine of them. SGA is an amazing player in his own right but NOBODY plays with the purity and efficiency of Nikola Jokic. Nobody. Hell, SGA enjoyed 9 free throw attempts. Jokic got a whopping THREE. The other night Cade Cunningham scored 45 points on 46 shots. FORTY SIX! Jokic wouldn't dare. He doesn't need to. His numbers are like the expensive fuel at the pump -- clean and pure. He's not a product of stat nerds, as some would contend. He's quite simply the MOST EFFICIENT OFFENSIVE PLAYER TO WALK THE FACE OF THE EARTH. Not since Wilt? He is Wilt. Respect it. Cherish it. Honor it.
