Listening to the Queen Elisabeth competition, Álvaro Lozano Cames playing Shostakovich concerto. Genius composer imo and top notch performance. Love the accurate rhythmic playing and musical phrasing. Really different from the previous candidate, I prefer this one.

Intonation not always super accurate, but that's something I heard with most candidates and really hard on this instrument. I still put more weight on the rhythmic interpretation and phrasing, sound.
