The Last Translation Benchmark is out. Check it out!
Congrats to @zouharvi and the organizing team for coordinating this huge project.
I am very happy to have contributed instances representative of Flemish and Belgian French.
@hllo_wrld@askerlee If you want, I think it is also allowed to commit directly to another conference (eacl, naacl, ...)with the same reviews. Another arr round is optional
Transactions on Machine Learning Research (#TMLR) is a great journal.
It offers quick responses and, in my view, the best review process: scoreless reviews โ rebuttal and paper revision โ scores โ decision.
Iโm really disappointed by its new Q2 ranking.
I wonder whether something is missing from the metric?
@thegautamkamath Potential negative side effect: papers get judged based on the affiliations of their authors. This could be detrimental to newcomers and lesser known institutions
I made a mistake when claiming that there were 0 reviews. I usually submit my reviews first, so I forgot that other reviews are visible only after I submit my own. This paper had 2 reviews. Nevertheless, that is very sad given that the end of the rebuttal period is approaching.
It is wild that some papers have still received 0 reviews for #EMNLP2026. The rebuttal period is supposed to end soon... I wonder how many authors do not fulfill their reviewing duties this cycle
Now close to 30 requests. I did my best to finish 2 emergency reviews, but I cannot do more. My excuses to all the ACs that I could not help.
If you are eligible and have time to review a paper, please volunteer here to help our ACs: https://t.co/tbb46TbWQe

I received 20 emergency reviewing requests for this ARR May cycle. This is madness. The reviewing system can't keep up with that amount of submissions.

@Harshitaskh31 I am a reviewer, not an area chair, so I cannot assign reviews to you. You can volunteer as an emergency reviewer here: https://t.co/tbb46TbWQe

@mar_kar_ I wonder what the average scores and acceptance rate will be for these papers without eligible author.
These statistics should be reported to inform future decisions
@emnlpmeeting > "any concurrently submitted papers on a related topic with an overlapping set of authors must cite each other"
"related topic" is very vague. Can this criteria be clarified? Are for example two papers sharing the same domain (e.g., legal) considered as "related topic"?
