@TuckwoodBethany Virtual placements would be an amazing option to make up the hours lost throughout the pandemic. I know I have lots of hours to catch up on, most of which were no fault of my own.

@RobPPickering1 @faz_tawonz @violadavis If only it was that simple.. addiction is a mental disorder usually brought on by trauma or childhood issues.. yes the first toke is their choice but after that it can become an addiction because of they way they are programmed.

@StNurseProject Community so far... learnt so many skills and finally felt like a real nurse seeing my own patients and assessing their care needs.. Next is emergency department which I'm scared about but really looking forward to!

Made it through my first year of nursing covid free! Finished on the 17th..
3 placements in the hospital as a student, plus bank shifts in covid positive wards.. and nothing.

@StNurseProject Was supposed to be on placement but now isolating due to a positive covid child in my sons bubble at school. We are currently in hospital after my son developed a cough, high temperature and difficulty breathing. Awaiting his covid test results now 😒

@KEW96814893 @dexcom @Diabetescouk We have found it to be out slightly, so tend to air on the side of caution and do finger prick tests when dexcom alarms hypos and hypers. My daughter is only 2 and 11kg, so giving glucose or insulin, even small amounts can have a massive impact on her levels
