Two workers sued Disney, HCL, and Cognizant for colluding to illegally displace American workers.

He was a professor + the director of MIT Plasma Science and Fusion Center

> Studied nuclear fusion (= energy source of the Sun + stars) for 10 years at MIT
> His award-winning work focused on creating a virtually limitless, clean energy source on Earth - one that doesn’t produce carbon or radioactive waste (usual biproduct of fission reactors)
> His research was essentially a threat to companies in the energy sector (fossil fuels, wind, solar, etc)
> Nuno was vital to the development of fusion nuclear power plants, without him the path ahead is less clear + his death will set back the entire field

Nuno is not the first MIT fusion scientist to be brutally murdered, in 2004 Eugene Mallove was also shot in his home

Fun fact: the moment an ICE agent touches your security camera, they’ve basically tripped a legal landmine. Under Jacobsen and Jones, physically interfering with someone’s property without a warrant can count as both a seizure and a trespass. Courts call this a Fourth Amendment violation. Most people call it what it actually is: unlawful meddling with someone else’s stuff. Even the Supreme Court has said officers aren’t allowed to wander past the “knock and talk” boundary or manipulate objects like they're auditioning for a burglary crew (Jardines). So when an agent tilts your camera to hide their behavior, they’re not just being shady. They’re potentially nuking their own case, violating constitutional law, and handing your lawyer a gift-wrapped civil rights claim. Cute move, legally disastrous.

🚨BREAKING: 23 people have died in ICE custody.

Chaofeng Ge, a Chinese immigrant, was found “hanged” with his arms and legs tied behind his back and ICE tried to call it suicide.

Randall Esquivel was deported in a vegetative state and died soon after.

This isn’t detention. It’s torture, neglect, and state-sanctioned abandonment and it’s happening on American soil.
