@sportsfanrvm@IceColdKennybo If A’s were allowed a move to SJ, NFL wouldn’t have prohibited Raiders from building a new stadium at the existing Coliseum site. A’s squatted there aimlessly then ditched the Coliseum anyway!
SF Giants permanently and remorselessly altered Bay Area pro sports for the worse!
@sportsfanrvm@IceColdKennybo Those are the 5 options I can identify, not sure what would be left.
Which option are you more inclined to choose? Option 2? SF Giants are hoping you’ll get with the program and forget about the A’s and support the only local team left. I could never but to each their own.
@MarinRaider I just don’t see AOC being a part of the long term plan the way you’re suggesting but Kubiak is the one responsible for forming and maintaining the QB room, not us fans, so I agree we’ll just have to wait and see.
@MarinRaider You’re assuming Raiders keep 3 QBs on roster but AOC may have a new team before the season even starts. Even if Raiders keep three, the third QB could very well be a name not even on roster yet.
Maybe AOC reconnects with JMD and the offense he’s building in NE.
@ewayner2@BrodieBz Giants didn’t laugh at San Jose when A’s nearly moved in on their fanbase in the South Bay.
They argued in court that they would lose fans if another team moved in on the region and history tells us they’d attempt to do the same if a team threatened to sprout in nearby Sac.
@deansguide@The_StilesFiles This is the obvious response but we’ve seen MLB take Giants’ side when it comes to losing potential fans to another regional team in the past!
Giants feel entitled to the entirety of Northern California but Sac is literally a bridge too far for MLB to consider as SF’s market
@RealEricMadison@Athletics@VitalVegas@LasVegasLocally@As_Fan_Radio Fisher can’t sell the name of his baseball team to generate revenue, be serious.
Oakland can no longer be considered cuz SF Giants made it clear they don’t want to share the Bay Area market with another team, MLB complies.
@MainStreetUSA__@AdamThaSportFan Prime example of why SF Giants feel entitled to all of Northern California as a market and will likely make the effort to ensure no other team sprouts up anywhere near them.
Giants ownership fears this fan because of his application of free will!
They’ve admitted it in court.
@AdamThaSportFan Unfortunately for baseball fans in the region, MLB sides with SF Giants to ensure the Bay Area is a one-team market
Been hoping A’s stay in nearby Sac permanently but Fisher is now pot-committed to LV
Sac expansion under new, enthusiastic ownership is cause for my loyal support
@soccerhaus@JDPowPow@BizballMaury I too want to live in a just world.
Giants have far less territorial leverage against Sac than Oakland/SJ but we have to assume they’ll try their best to keep Sac from happening anyway
History has shown MLB has protected the interests of the Giants at the expense of other teams
@JDPowPow@soccerhaus@BizballMaury This part!
SF Giants a bigger obstacle to expansion in Sacramento than the search for a primary investor.
Through a series of falling dominoes, Giants have permanently and remorselessly altered the landscape of professional sports in the Bay Area for the worse.
@MovieFanMike Fisher’s now pot-committed to LV.
He’s made the investment to move A’s away from East Bay Area to Southern Nevada, a commitment that apparently other investors aren’t willing to make.
Taking the L and squatting in Sac like he did in Oakland is the only way he hijacks the market.
@_willcompton JJ locked in!
