SCOOP: The Pentagon has banned journalists from its press office, designating it a classified space. The change creates a new barrier between journalists and the public affairs officers who have traditionally answered their questions.

Among the largest procurement increases are $582m for Air Force aircraft, $479m for Army aircraft procurement and $573m for defense-wide procurement activities. Navy shipbuilding would receive an additional $207m.
The mark, meanwhile, adds $1.23b to procurement accounts and $567.7m to rdt& programs, while cutting operations and maintenance funding by $854.6m and reducing military personnel accounts by $750m.
