I’m unbelievably excited & grateful to be joining this incredible team as an Anchor on Sportsnet Central.

The last eight years shaped me in ways I could’ve never imagined. Now, I look forward to building on it; through new challenges, new experiences in a new city & the opportunity to work alongside some of the very best in the industry.

So much to learn. So much left to be written.

The best eight years of my life.

On August 20, 2018, I walked into this organization as a wide-eyed reporter who was set to live out a childhood dream.

Today, I leave having lived something much greater.

I leave as a man who was given opportunities he couldn’t even dream of. Thousands of interviews. Hundreds of games. Countless flights, practices, morning skates, playoff nights and moments that shaped me. I will carry them with me forever.

I found my voice here. I found confidence here. I made mistakes here. I grew & evolved here. I experienced some of the best this beautiful life has to offer here.

I leave with memories that will last a lifetime. But the greatest gift was the people I got to share them with.

To my teammates: thank you for believing in me. Thank you for challenging me. Thank you for celebrating the highs with me and standing beside me through the lows. You mean more to me than you’ll ever know.

To the Edmonton Oilers organization: thank you for taking a chance on that wide-eyed kid and allowing him to live out a dream. Sharing your team’s stories has been a blessing. It’s been an honour to represent this incredible organization & be a part of its journey.

To Oil Country: thank you for welcoming me into your homes, your phones, your televisions and your lives. So many of my favourite memories came from meeting the people who make this fanbase so special; whether it was at the desk, in your seats, out in the community or even far away from home. I’m humbled to have represented this city and this fanbase.

There is sadness in saying goodbye. But there is also an overwhelming amount of gratitude.

I arrived here chasing a dream.

I leave ready to chase another.

Edmonton, you will always be home.
