My Review for #LineOfFire *Paper Trails*🔥🪽

 Minor Spoilers 🚨

I know I say it a lot but WOW‼️This show is officially 4-for-4 and it continues to exceed expectations! Episode 4 continued the absolutely amazing pace it has set from the start, and it just keeps getting better and better.

We are finally diving deeper into the overarching lore of Jack and those origami cranes. Finding out he was a Blade Runner fan is such a cool, layered character detail which I personally love. While the puzzle pieces are coming together, the show is still delivering an excellent case-of-the-week format.

Tonight gave us those amazing father/daughter team ups between Mike (Peter Krause) and Clare (Kat cunning) even if Clare didn't see the vision or appreciate it at first! Mike is proving to be a true poppa bear, always watching over his family even when they resist it, and their dynamic is so fun to watch.
Peter and Kat work so well off each other and I really enjoyed their scenes together and hope we get more going forward. Seeing this family realize that they work best when working together is something I can’t wait to see unfold to the characters as time goes on, because they truly are the most powerhouse family!

But oh man, the plot is THICKENING. Micah found himself in some incredibly hot water (literally spiked Molly water) while on vacation with the President's daughter, Sydney. Russ swooped in like the amazing brother he is but it didn’t come without a bit of sibling rivalry. We also have Micah being a murder suspect and Detective Wallace circling the Hollingsworth family like a shark. The ripples from this are massive, bringing out total momma bear energy from Jane (Hope Davis). She will stop at absolutely nothing to protect her kids, so much so that she makes a massive gamble….Jane confides the entire Hollingsworth family secret to Wallace. But the truth still remains hidden to the kids which is bubbling to the surface.

The web of lies is tangling up so fast, and the stakes are through the roof. It’s delicious tv to watch and it’s so masterfully woven you’re on the edge of your seat while having a blast at the same time 💥

To top off an already incredible episode, the massive news dropped today that @nbc just ordered 5 MORE EPISODES to be added to their original 13 episode season🙌🏼 We are officially getting 18 episodes of pure entertainment! This show has completely found its stride, and the network clearly knows they have a massive hit on their hands! I’ll take 20 more seasons please and thank you because this is how you do television right 🔥

Watch #LineofFire on @nbc and @City_tv on Mondays at 10pm and next day on @peacock 🔥

Some book people make reading sound like a damn job

[˚｡⋆୨୧˚Ash 🇭🇹˚୨୧⋆｡˚ ⋆ @ashmq200]

I was talking to someone and they’re right bookstagram and booktok is better than booktwt. At least there is a variety and I can find creators with similar tastes that I have. Also I don’t have to deal with pretentious people who think they’re the supreme reader!

KHOM KHLANG EP6
#ข่มขลังตอนี่6

can’t stop thinking about this scene… this is the best confession scene i’ve ever seen in a long, long while. there’s so much weight in its simplicity; it’s quiet with just them and their vows which are so beautifully said that it made “i love you” pale in comparison. this scene is going to stick with me for a long time. thank you puinoonbint and the khom khlang team once again for this absolute masterpiece 🤍

This is exceptionally disappointing. Vauhini Vara has been treading a fine line using AI in her writing as a “critique” of tech, first in Ghosts then in her memoir, where she raised good questions about how tech shapes our personhood, knowledge, and episteme. Until this moment:

Saved your life and you still accusing her

[𝐣𝐨𝐲𝐜𝐞 @cyjprint]

🍑 you? are you really the live-in maid of this house? stop lying and answer honestly. who are you, really? ms. geum seohee?
👩🏻 i’m the live-in maid of this house. you heard me earlier.
🍑 don’t lie. if you really are a live-in maid, why were you in a first-class train compartment, and what was that today? i’ve never heard of an live-in maid who speaks english
👩🏻 that’s a compliment, right? i couldn’t go to school, so i couldn’t get another job. but that’s not my fault, is it?
🍑 if you really are the live-in maid of this house, why are you outside right now? the household is in chaos, yet you’re not tidying up or taking care of the madam?
👩🏻 i’m on an errand to buy medicine for her. as you know, because of what happened earlier, she became very unwell. so would you please move aside? i have to go. if you keep suspecting me like this, i’ll go and tell the director-general of political affairs. since i saved your life earlier…
🍑 are you saying you’ll go to my father?
👩🏻 your father? yes, your father. let’s go together and tell him about it. you keep suspecting me of being a pickpocket. from what i saw earlier, he seemed like a fair and impartial person, so surely…
🍑 what do you know?
👩🏻 what?
🍑 well, this seems like a waste of time, so let’s stop arguing. i won’t question your identity any further, so just return what’s inside my wallet. you can keep the wallet and the money, and then we’ll pretend none of this ever happened.
👩🏻 what’s inside your wallet? you keep talking about your wallet, but i honestly have no idea what you’re talking about. but this is strange. if you’re certain that i’m the pickpocket who stole your wallet, you could just go to the police station. so why aren’t you doing that? i guess you’d be in trouble if other people found out what was inside your wallet, wouldn’t you?
🍑 whatever you have, it’s of no use to you. i’m telling you to keep the wallet and the money and just return that one thing. why do you keep pretending you dont know?
👩🏻 i’m not pretending. i really don’t know!
🍑 if i hadn’t helped you earlier, you would have been dragged away along with me as an accomplice. you don’t seem the least bit grateful.
👩🏻 isn’t the same true for you? you know you would have nearly died if i hadn’t been there earlier, right? and now you’re calling the person who saved your life a pickpocket
🍑 listen here!
