@BethRigby@SamCoatesSky - @Keir_Starmer & @UKLabour are in a psychodrama of their own making. It's not just the disastrous election results. It's the PMs judgement with Mandleson and the PMs advisors. It's about being tone-deaf about what people in the country want.
@SteveReedMP Those who voted @UKLabour in 2024 were actually fewer in number - approx half a million fewer- than those who voted Labour under @jeremycorbyn in 2019. The government can hardly claim a huge endorsement from the electorate
@BethRigby@SamCoatesSky Why are media letting @Keir_Starmer and other @UKLabour politicians get away with claiming a mandate from the people/landslide majority? In 2024 Labour had less votes than under Corbyn in 2019.
@EdConwaySky@SkyNews#Budget2026 The child allowance cap is coming off in April 2026, but most of the tax increases don't come into effect until 2028. So how will the cap removal be paid for in the first 2 years? Increased borrowing?
More .@BBCNews misreporting Supreme Court did not say legally a woman SHOULD be defined by biological sex, they said under CURRENT UK law that is how they are defined. The Govt could just change the law!

The taking the knee thing has never been effective. It completely missed the point of the US version. In the US they took the knee during the National Anthem as a protest against Govt racism

.@BBCNews .@SkyNews have any of the US networks given as much coverage of UK leaders debates as you have of Biden/Trump debate? UK news channels overly obsessed with US news, more than enough happening at home
Hope .@itvnews have arranged some decent programming on other channels when leaders debate is on, .@RishiSunak is as charismatic as a potato & .@Keir_Starmer has the charm of a mouldy turnip
.@bbcnews can we have VAR - did Rosie Winterton ask for the Noes? Labour amendment for an immediate humanitarian ceasefire passes https://t.co/y0HQCXRjzX via @BBCNews
@itvnews Wasn't @Keir_Starmer head of the CPS at this time! (2008-2013) surely someone there questioned all the prosecutions coming from the Post Office
