@Mikewazvegas@KFAN1003@DanBarreiroKFAN Yes he was, but they’ve hit there limit as a group, this group isn’t going any further. And he was a tradeable asset.
@WillRagatz Have to give to get…everyone wanted them to do something, but not give anything up. Doesn’t work when you don’t have draft capital. Ball is going to open up so much for Ant and they clearly aren’t done, they will find someone for the 4. Plus you keep Rudy for D.
@jakeson124 @TreeJCo@esidery@TimBontemps Not to mention Donte isn’t playing next year, at least not until the playoffs. So he’s essentially dead weight on the roster.
@i_need_top@MeatSauce1 They are sending out a guy who has lost credibility with his teammates in the locker room and a guy who won’t play next season and will be an unrestricted FA. For a team trying to win now, this is a good move.
@EmbraceNAmplify@BenGoessling You mean in the “no salary cap” era…where you could keep players as long as you wanted? Because that’s what kept those teams together and what did they get…0 championships. The Wilfs have always been willing to spend whatever to win a championship. It just hasn’t happened
@TPPSkol@Charley_Walters@PioneerPress I mean, the payroll slashing was to fix the upcoming cap mess that Kwesi created when they thought last year was the year. Yes the cap can be manipulated, but history has shown, eventually it bites you in the ass. The Wilfs have never been shy to spend.
