@AberdoveyPuffin@EPLBible It wasn’t a foul for either side, tarkowski stayed down holding his head (inexplicably) and ref stopped play for possible head injury. There was no foul committed in the clip above 👍🏼
At 17 I scored 18 PL goals (winning the Golden Boot), Wazza scored 6.
At 18 I again scored 18 goals (again winning the Golden Boot and coming 4th in The Ballon d’Or), Wazza scored 9. In our opening 7 seasons, Wazza didn’t outscore me once (117 goals v 80). In which time I became the 2nd youngest Ballon d’Or winner ever. Injuries hindered me from then on while he sustained his level. Therefore, he’ll go down as a better player than me. But, at 17, please……
@Stevendwcotton It’s more this point that people can’t seem to grasp; the line (and ‘wall’ they draw) begins at the attackers furthest-forward ball-playing body part. Then, if no ball-playing part of the defender is visible through the ‘wall’, then the attacker is ahead of the defender; offside.
It’s absolutely staggering to see just how many people have zero understanding of how the semi-automated offside technology works. I’d think this was onside too if I was also a complete idiot.
🗣️VAR was meant to fix the game. Instead, it’s exposed it. Every weekend the big 6 get the breaks, while the rest are left with apologies and “human error.” This weekend was the clearest proof yet — it’s not fit for purpose, and everyone can see it.
