@dadyfawdc@michaelgrange@JustEsBaraheni 💯 this is what every other local reporter does but Grange doesn’t want to look biased despite literally being the only Canadian NBA reporter who gets to vote.
@fire_whites@JerryTurin@MapleLeaves34 Bedard was even better at the world juniors and WHL and he hasn’t exactly dominated at the NHL level his first 3 years
@tmdemarzo@BuffaloSabres Buffalo has been shit for over a decade while Boston has won the cup and been to numerous Stanley cup finals while then. About time some of buffalo’s high 1st round picks finally did something. Where’s Kevyn Adams when you need him
@PatriceMarchy@NHLRumourReport They were on the same team but never actually played together. Poitras was the 1st line center. Jett was a 4th liner in his rookie season.
@frenchexpress96@StuCowan1 He’s not. Ice time average is a good indicator of which centers play the most. Zacha and Lindholm both ahead of Minten in ice time for centers in a Boston.
@TotallyAllIn@LeafsUpdates21 If the Leafs brass loved O’Reilly and Cowan playing together they would have just drafted him in 2024. Leafs picked Danford at 31, O’Reilly was the next pick at 32.
@tavkniesnythews If the leafs really liked O’Reilly with Cowan they would have just taken him in the draft in 2024. They choose Ben Danford at #31, O’Reilly was the next pick.
@Volpefan69@DarrenDreger@SneakyJoeSports Still has at least 6-7 productive years left.
If you think a hockey players peaks at 26 you are absolutely insane. Even look at this season alone. Guys like Morgan Geekie and Darren Raddysh have just started to come into their own in their late 20’s
@Volpefan69@DarrenDreger@SneakyJoeSports Kucherov, McDavid, Draisaitl, Tkachuk, MacKinnon, Scheifele, Pastrnak, Connor, Necas, Rantanen, Eichel, Stone and many, many more have all aged so properly after 26.
Stick to baseball Volpe.
