Honoured that @WeRide_ai has been named to Fortune's 2026 Change the World list. We're the only AV company recognized alongside Anthropic, BYD, and Alphabet. This reflects years of dedication and the support behind our mission. Proud to see autonomous mobility recognized for improving transportation safety.
Autonomous driving isn't defined by a single trip. It's proven through consistent performance, every day, in real traffic. It is encouraging to see our fully driverless Robotaxis live in Guangzhou today. Join us and see it firsthand on our regular livestream series.

Excited to share our Robotaxi livestream from Guangzhou.
No edits. No scripts. Just a real look at how autonomous driving operates every day in the real world.
@elonmusk
π¬ We're live! Tune in now to witness a day-in-the-life of our Robotaxi as it moves through the streets of Guangzhou from sunrise to sunset, serving riders and navigating the city's daily flow today from 8am-8pm (CST).

As the market watches cybercab @elonmusk, Autonomous Driving is emerging as the first large-scale commercial application of Physical AI. Today, WeRideβs Robobus has tested and operated in 40+ cities globally.
There's still a significant gap between public perception and the reality of autonomous driving. Yesterday, while livestreaming the 2027 GAC AION i60 powered by WRD 3.0 in Guangzhou, we secured our eighth title in China's Urban Intelligent Driving Competition, a record no other solution has achieved.
China has set a goal for 70% of new cars to be electric vehicles or hybrids by 2030 and for autonomous driving to be deployed at scale, in the latest five-year plan for the auto industry. https://t.co/8y1JLxkhWP
The reason comes down to algorithms. WeRide started with L4 autonomy, and we're now bringing those same globally validated capabilities into L2++ products. We've made advanced intelligent driving available in vehicles priced below $20,000 in China.
My takeaway: the intelligent driving systems we offer today are already delivering performance that outperforms average drivers in many scenarios. This is not a slogan. It's a reality built on years of real-world operations, live demonstrations, and consistent wins in competition.
Proud to see @WeRide_ai in the HKEX Tech 100 Index. We believe autonomous driving is one of the most promising Physical AI applications. Expanding across 13 countries & 60 cities, we're focused on turning innovation into real-world value for autonomous driving solutions.
As intelligent driving matures, I believe the challenge is no longer just about achieving the best performance on a single vehicle or computing platform. The real challenge is building AI that can consistently perform across different hardware architectures and real-world environments.
At WeRide, algorithm generalization has always been a core focus. This philosophy has helped us secure seven championships at the China Urban Intelligent Driving Competition. It is reflected in our most recent championship win with the Qualcomm Snapdragon SA8650-powered GAC Aion N60, as well as four consecutive championship victories on NVIDIA DRIVE Orin-powered Chery vehicles.
Every championship is supported by close collaboration across the ecosystem, from computing platform innovators like @nvidia and @Qualcomm to partners such as @BoschGlobal and leading OEMs.
Progress in intelligent driving is a team effort, and I'm grateful to all of our partners helping bring advanced AI into real-world mobility.
I was deeply moved to see Ronald Sakolsky riding a Robobus powered by WeRide autonomous driving technology in Kangbashi, a city that has emerged as an oasis near the Mu Us Desert.
What makes this moment especially meaningful is the story behind the place. Yin Yuzhenβs decades-long journey of planting trees and fighting desertification reflects the perseverance of generations. It also speaks to a shared aspiration that transcends borders: building a better environment and a better life for future generations.
Twenty-seven years ago, technology connected two strangers across the world and helped turn a $5,000 contribution into a forest. Today, technology has brought people together once again, this time aboard an autonomous Robobus, where they can witness the results of human determination and innovation.
I often say that technology must ultimately serve people. To me, this moment is a powerful reminder of what that means: connecting people, expanding possibilities, and using technology to transform urban living for the better.
During his China visit, retired US teacher Ronald Sakolsky, who helped Yin Yuzhen plant trees in the Mu Us Desert 26 years ago, tried a self-driving car for the first time and was amazed.ππ€
It was a pleasure to join @DanielAbreuM on the Autonomy Insiders podcast for a thoughtful discussion on autonomous driving, Physical AI, global deployment, and what it takes to bring AI from the digital world into the real world.
One point I strongly believe in is: "Hallucination in digital AI may be entertaining, but it is fatal in Physical AI"
When AI operates in the physical world, whether in Robotaxis, autonomous buses, or future intelligent machines, safety and reliability become the ultimate challenge. The tolerance for error is extremely small, which is why building Physical AI requires a fundamentally different mindset from building digital AI.
We also talked about WeRide's journey from a startup founded in 2017 to a business footprint of more than 60 cities in 13 countries today. Throughout that journey, one belief has remained unchanged: technology should make people's lives better and happier. As we expand globally, we believe long-term success comes from working closely with local partners, investing in local talent, and helping bring prosperity to the communities we serve.
Enjoyed sharing my perspective. The full discussion is shared below.
Great discussion with @CNBC on WeRide's Q2 results last week. Nearly doubled revenue in Q2 while net losses narrow. Autonomous driving adoption is a marathon, but every new market, deployment, and partnership brings us closer to that vision. Excited for what's ahead.
π We achieved our 7th championship win at the China Intelligent Driving Competition (Guizhou)! The GAC Aion N60, powered by WRD 3.0, claimed first place with the lowest starting price on the grid, with strong performance across increasingly rigorous evaluation standards.

Last week, I hosted my first-ever livestream, spending two hours behind the wheel of a GAC AION N60 powered by WeRide's WRD 3.0 as we navigated Guangzhou's downtown rush hour.
The experience was remarkable. Despite dense traffic and complex urban roads, the drive required zero interventions and felt effortless. The system handled challenging situations as smoothly and confidently as an experienced driver.
During the livestream, someone asked how advanced intelligent driving capabilities could already be available in a vehicle like this. My answer was simple: intelligent driving should not only be for the privileged few.
Technologies that make driving safer, easier, and less stressful should become accessible to everyone. We want more families to experience the benefits of urban intelligent driving in their everyday lives.
Here are some of the highlights from the drive. What real-world scenarios should we put WRD 3.0 through next?

What excites me most about autonomous mobility is seeing it work across different cities, countries, and operating environments.
That's why I'm proud to see WeRide enter Denmark through our partnership with GreenMobility.
Every new market brings unique challenges, and every successful deployment brings us one step closer to making autonomous transportation a practical reality for more people around the world.
