@HotspurLane Agree that some of the stuff RDZ says doesn’t make much sense! Perhaps he’s seeing something in training which explains why he doesn’t fancy him atm. Fernandes is clearly a quality player so hopefully his time will come soon.
@simonyemane Fully agreed. Hopefully an elite LW and striker to come. Exciting times. Finally acting like a big club in the transfer market. Long may it continue!
@THFCForever_ Ha ha tell me about it mate. Would be so typical spurs. I’m usually a pessimist when it comes to spurs but for some reason I’m a little optimistic we will end up with tonali. Does look like Fernandes will end up at Utd now tho. Should go for Wharton instead then!
@SpotliteOnSpurs Agreed mate. We’ve been here many times before haven’t we, although it seems different this time rather than smoke screens under levy. Either way I’m trying not to get my hopes to high and won’t believe anything until I see them in a spurs shirt!
@mitch_fretton Agreed but you can’t blame him in a way. Barely had any playing time of late and it’ll get worse with the midfield targets we’re currently trying to sign. Just need to ensure we get as high a transfer fee as possible with a decent sell on clause
@GaryRWard Disagree. Why should we cave in? We should sell only when it’s in the best interests of the club. He’s only 19 and had one good season in Germany. We should only consider a much higher offer and with a decent sell on clause imo. Else we should loan him whether he likes it or not.
@Allthings__THFC Forget it. We should reject all offers and loan him whether he likes it or not. If we accept anything remotely close to what we bought van hecke then we’d be mugged off. His value will be double that in a couple years if he continues to develop as projected
@HotspurLane I beg to differ. Prices have gone up. Plus who’s gonna use the athletic and spurs play with some sort of regularity, unless you’re a die hard fan with lots of time on your hands. Another money spinning scam from the club whilst we’ve finished 17th two years in a row
@SpotliteOnSpurs Love it ha ha. Come on PSG. Football won tonight. Justice prevailed as only one team wanted to win and were the better team. Typical Woolwich poncing a goal and sitting back the rest of the game
@SpotliteOnSpurs Either way, we need someone that is well established with experience that can make an instant and meaningful impact with regular G/A’s. Also someone that would excite us as a fan base esp since the departures of Kane and Sonny
@SpotliteOnSpurs Provided we stay up, the board is willing to spend, and we can attract that type of player, I’d love someone like Nico Williams. Could be realistically attainable for us but fear he’d be lured by bigger clubs with CL footy on offer
@RickySacks He should’ve gone after palace. My only hope is that the club are lining up a replacement post Liverpool to allow him all week to work towards the crunch forest game. But I have no faith in the clowns running this club. If we stick with Tudor we’re def going down.
@mitch_fretton Fully agreed Mitch. Although Forest and WH also have tough fixtures like us, they are playing better than us and don’t have no way near as many injuries. It’s very worrying.
@mitch_fretton Nothing to lose sleep over mate. There are much bigger problems with this club and other priorities we should now focus on such as bringing in some quality attackers (LW and striker ideally)
@patricktyrant Enough is enough. This is beyond a joke now. I know our squad is bang average now and worst it’s been for years but we should be better than this. I almost don’t care who we bring in at this stage. Anyone but Frank. It can’t be any worse surely.
@mitch_fretton That pretty much sums it up! This is the worse it’s been since I can remember. Club is in complete disarray. I’ve been Frank out for weeks and his head has to finally roll. But in fairness the performance was better tonight. Squad just lacks quality and confidence.
@patricktyrant Agreed Patty. I’m also livid. I’ve been Frank out for weeks and enough is enough now. But in fairness the performance was better tonight and we were unlucky in a couple of moments. If the squad had more quality and confidence we probably would’ve won tonight based on chances had
