@Brandon_Warne Trev posted a video about how, after speaking to him on the phone, he’s pretty optimistic about this year and the future. That’s one I’ve seen. Don’t know how to feel yet but I haven’t seen anything personally that gets me thinking things will be different.
@Vikeologist Need some better red zone possessions for sure. But the QB missing open guys and TD’s left and right just makes things look much worse than they actually are.
@metsbatflip1@BNightengale No trade clause in his contract would be a hurdle tough to navigate on top of taking away the current face of the Twins franchise.
@In_JakeWeTrust@JJDEMARAY@Peter_Bukowski Lose Gilmore (was rough to end the year)
Get Blackmon back (lost for the season last year in training camp - was CB2)
Lose Shaq Griffin
Add Isaiah Rodgers (upgrade)
Lose Bynum
Promote Jackson (slight downgrade)
Combined with a vastly improved front, it’s an improved D overall.
@In_JakeWeTrust@JJDEMARAY@Peter_Bukowski LG, C, RG, DT, DT
Donavan Jackson (1st rd pick)
Ryan Kelly
Will Fries
Johnathan Allen
Javon Hargrave
Rookie aside, pro bowl+ level guys added to the few weak spots from last year.
@AvenueVikings@Vikeologist Speaking some truth here. Casual baseball fans just won’t get it. They don’t realize it isn’t 100MPH from day 1 in a 162 game season.
@vikingzfanpage@SeifertESPN Of those 44 defensive rookies, how many had 2 pro bowl players at their same position on their team? My guess is he had the most snaps out of rookies that had 2 pro bowlers in front of them. Lots of football left in his career.
@Vikeologist He’s a wrecking ball that’s 100mph all the time. Makes game breaking plays. It’s a great fit for his role next to a more veteran well rounded LB like Cashman.
