Grim scenes in Belfast and violence and arson must be condemned.

A period of calm would be welcome.

However, I suspect the people of Belfast are asking:

Who is this man?👇

What is he doing in my country?

Did the state authorities facilitate his presence here or try to stop it?

If the former, why?

If the latter, how?

The UK state should answer all of these questions in detail. And as quickly and as comprehensively as they can.

This morning in Parliament, I was accosted by Lib Dem MP Angus MacDonald, who accused me and others of inciting violence. His aggressive approach and tone left me feeling threatened and shaken.

This kind of behaviour is unacceptable, especially from fellow MPs. We all have different views and should be able to disagree respectfully.

The Lib Dems support open borders, while Reform UK supports controlled immigration and putting the British people first.

That’s not inciting violence, that’s doing what’s best for the United Kingdom. 🇬🇧

The applause for Kemi Badenoch’s handling of the Nowak case from Two-Tier Kier tells its own story. The Conservative Party leadership remains instinctively committed to the same assumptions that delivered record levels of both legal and illegal immigration.

For those hoping the party has undergone a serious reckoning, this is a reminder that little has changed.

The managerial consensus endures. The faces may differ, but the governing instincts remain remarkably familiar.

Sadly it is true.

Conservative Ministers told me to stop talking about Grooming Gangs out of fear of upsetting the Muslim community.

They criticised me in public because I described the perpetrators as largely Pakistani-Muslim.

They complained to the Whips about this being a ‘divisive’ issue.

It’s one of the reasons I left the Tory Party.

The bodycam footage has finally been released of Henry Nowak’s last moments.

He was the victim, but treated like a criminal.

“I can’t breathe” he says, over and over again.

Instead of helping him the police arrest him on false charges of racism.

Harrowing.

It’s hard to escape the conclusion he was treated differently because he was white.
