@cold_fire7 I dug Ultraman as a kid. This was a staple on local TV in Philly in the late 1970s. The effects were perfect for us then, and they are still perfect today. True artistry went into making that series.
@movieweb Cool. Looking forward to it...I remember first discovering HK cinema back in the early 1990s...some of the GREATEST action movies I ever saw.
@NoahPasternak Yeah. Filmation relied heavily on "limited animation" (the old industry term for recycling) to keep budgets down. A lot of their 1970s series also relied on it.
@Daily_MailUS Interesting development. Ironically, I was just reading a post about the Dirty Harry franchise. The first film was loosely inspired by Zodiac.
@20thcentury I remember when 20th Century Fox's old 1960s TV show, Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, featured a "swallowed by a whale, how do we get out?" episode.
