@league1and2 Rochdales owner has deeper pockets than Stockport owner, not even close, being a billionaire. (You can google it) Stockport took slightly more fans to Wembley for a league 1 play off than Dale did for a national league one. I’d pipe down.
@GregIngham1 I don’t think it’ll end well for him, the problem is Stockport think they are a Bolton or a Blackburn and they expect promotion to the championship. A competitive league 1 with Leicester and Wednesday might think differently.
@sandylaner Strange move, reminds me of hill going to Barnsley, clubs that think they are bigger than they actually are, with the expectation to match their delusions of grandeur often don’t end well for managers.
@MrStephenHowson Do you remember a few months ago Turki Alalshikh came out publicly and said he’s glad United are getting new owners, something like that. I might be a dreamer but I hope it’s connected. I wonder if PIF are clearing the decks with golf and dumping NUFC for us…
@UnitedStandMUFC I think they’ll sell, I think Jim will happy to go as well and based on sheikh Turki Alalshikh prediction a few months ago (don’t forget that) it wouldn’t surprise me if the Saudis pulled the plug on Newcastle and bought United instead.
