@KnicksMuse Allan Houston was most consistent, unless you bump King to SG at 6’7” since you bumped Reed down to PF and put Melo in at SF, then the second string could be:
PG: Brunson
SG: Houston
SF: Sprewell
PF: Randle
C: KAT
Honorables: DeBusschere, Bradley, Oakley, Starks, Guerin, Pearl
@KnicksMuse i mean he was posting the day before on June 2nd that something huge was coming out but he can’t say, so even if he’s lying, he was right lol
@KeithKill mikal went for the steal and tried to foul as he passed Cade, but missed. That left Cade wide open drawing Josh Hart on him, leaving Beasley open.
@thomdamoy @DylanBackerESM Because they had a legendary level season for the most part but their main flaw is fatal and those teams know what it is (and I think a few others they have beaten earlier have figured it out too) and it’s not as simple as better depth although most of these teams are deeper too
I feel like @Money23Green and @KarlTowns should get up in the offseason and go over defense and getting that dog out of him every game. I loved what I saw out of him in that Warriors game.
@Team_1st@WorldWideWob Once we got OG, we saw how valuable Randle was especially his vision, and with JB, Ragu, and OG hitting 3s and OG cutting baseline a lot, it made the defense sag off Randle. January we saw the best of Randle. His numbers are skewed because he starts seasons so slow and off.
@Team_1st@WorldWideWob Also, like I said, since that Atlanta series he hasn’t had the chance to play healthy in the playoffs. He hasn’t had the chance to choke yet. Once JB got here, we could no longer play RJ with ball in his hand, especially since both JB & JR do. So we had RJ not develop & no D
@Team_1st@WorldWideWob I would argue he has not had the chance to play in the playoffs healthy with the right teammates. If uninjured, this could’ve been his chance. I’m sure in MN he’ll get his chance. Although AE has terrible shot selection and is terribly inefficient so far
@Team_1st@WorldWideWob I disagree. 2021 was his 1st playoffs & he was the only focal point & had the entire defense sent to stop him as his teammates not named Rose all folded. Against Cavs, he rushed back from injury & shouldn’t have even played. This year he was injured. 2 playoffs 2 legit reasons
@ogug8 I don’t think it’s about nice guys. A lot of these experiences stem from guys who got looked over for many reasons, maybe looks, or maybe social inadequacies and the more they get looked over, they often lack that emotional maturity that comes with the experience of love & loss
@TommyBeer In 21, was double teamed & beat up in his first ever playoffs, and he was still weak with his ability to handle being # 1 in a tough series and ALL of the team were hot trash except last legs DRose. 22 showed how far we still were…23 & 24 injured. But not # 1 option anymore
