James Develin grew up in Gilbertsville as an Eagles fan.
He also played seven seasons with the Patriots — including Super Bowl 52.
Now he's down the shore, selling açai bowls to fans who actively rooted against him in 2018.
(He gets a lot of "Go Birds")

If the return for A.J. Brown is straight up a 2028 first round draft pick — and from what I understand, that is the case — then it would come two draft cycles after the parameters of a deal between the #Eagles and Patriots were likely set.
That’s quite a drop in compensation if the initial asking price, as I had heard it, was a first and a second rounder. Some of that seemed posturing.
But the Rams were really the only other serious suitor. Brown was coming off a down season, has medical concerns with his knees, and requires some maintenance off the field. He’s also still highly regarded around the league and has many who vouch for his character and leadership.
The Eagles will save money by moving him — a significant $133.1M in cash — but there is also a dead money charge (around $43M) that necessitated a post-June 1 roster move. So they will be getting more than just the future first rounder for Brown.
It’s not apples to apples, but if you look at the most recent trade for a top receiver — the Broncos gave up 2026 1st, 3d and 4th round picks for Jaylen Waddle and a Dolphins 4th — the Eagles’ return isn’t close to comparable.
Waddle is 19 months younger, but he’s a tier below Brown. Perhaps Denver overpaid, but that market should have conceivably helped the #Eagles.

I did a film breakdown on new #Eagles EDGE Jonathan Greenard and what he brings to Vic Fangio’s defense as a pass rusher and run defender, and why he was still effective last year in Minnesota despite having just 3 sacks:

Last month, just before La Salle baseball played its final game at URI, a fan's heart stopped beating.
Dennis Maloney was there to watch his grandson pitch.
For about one minute, he was medically deceased.

Jonathan Greenard’s journey to the Eagles was forged by tragedy, near-music stardom and a special love for his hometown.
My latest on Greenard, with insight from Greenard himself, Bill O’Brien, his mother and much more.

Eagles 7th-rounder Uar Bernard crushed the IPP pro day and became the first African player from the program to be drafted. But where does his football development stand?

New Eagles tackle Markel Bell turned down college offers to start at JUCO and then did it again. The third-round pick is a unique player who keeps ascending.

Makai Lemon has never played on a team outside of his native Southern California. But the former USC wideout isn’t exactly Mr. California Cool.
“You drafted the guy that’s going to match the city’s intensity when it comes to pro football.” @phillysport

Jordan Matthews played five seasons with the #Eagles. He believes fellow Vandy product Eli Stowers will be a ‘silent killer’ in Philly.
