I often wonder what the fuck is wrong with society 👇
Heartfelt congratulations to the person who dug up the pitch at the Crown Hill Cricket Ground to prove their "success."
You succeeded in your mission.
Westcroft Cricket Club has, with great regret, been forced to withdraw from the league because it is no longer possible for other teams to play in this constant environment of vandalism.
You did not just damage a pitch; you stripped away the favorite sport, the joy, the friendships, and the healthy activities of over 80 children, youths, and adult players.
Congratulations on impacting an entire cricketing community.
Congratulations on undermining the hard work of volunteers who dedicate their time, money, and energy to promote the sport.
Congratulations on disappointing the parents who wanted to see their children engaged in positive activities.
Cricket is not just a game; it is a source of discipline, friendship, respect, and community cohesion.
It is tragic that someone’s negative mindset and destructive actions have washed away the happiness of so many people.
Hopefully, you are satisfied today knowing that a single action of yours has affected dozens of matches, hundreds of hours of hard work, and the happiness of countless individuals. But remember, grounds can be rebuilt, pitches can be prepared again, and the cricket community can bounce back stronger than ever.
Our full support and respect goes out to Westcroft Cricket Club, its players, volunteers, and supporters.
We hope this difficult time passes quickly and that the voices of children and youth will once again echo through the cricket ground.
A Call to the Community
We request all readers to strongly condemn this shameful act. The person who damaged the cricket ground and pitch did not just dig up soil—they attacked the happiness of dozens of children, youth, and athletes.
If you also believe that damaging sports fields, youth activities, and community hard work is unacceptable, then please raise your voice against this act.
Express your condemnation at least once, so a message goes out that our community will never accept such negative and destructive behavior.
Your single comment, a word, or even one voice can serve as proof of standing with this community.
Show solidarity with Westcroft Cricket Club, its 80+ players, and all its volunteers.
Sports stand for love, unity, and positive engagement. It is the responsibility of us all to discourage those who destroy them.
Westcroft Cricket Club.
@MattVincenziPGA They should kick out everyone who shouts something during or just after the swing especially any 'get in the hole' idiots. They only do it to get heard on TV.
Watching the Believe Me programme on ITV and cannot believe how incompetent the police were. We really have been let down so badly by our politicians and police force over the last few years. #believeme
A question for the left: Why is ok for Muslims and other immigrants be patriotic of their own in another country, but we can’t be patriotic of our own in our own country?
If you’re wondering what is going on in the UK right now, the state is having a complete meltdown about the working-classes of this country daring to mobilise on the streets.
Until now, the political class and the state have been absolutely fine with people protesting.
Islamist sympathisers? Fine.
Antisemites? Fine.
Pro-Iran stooges? Fine.
BLM revolutionaries who protest while breaking Covid laws? Fine.
The prime minister will even ‘Take the Knee’ to show he is with you.
If you’re a ‘former’ Islamist and ally of al-Qaeda he’ll even invite you into Number 10 Downing Street for a cup of tea.
And if you’re an antisemite who calls for violence against white people and the West, such as Alaa Abd El-Fattah? He’ll welcome you with open arms.
But if you happen to belong to the decent majority of hardworking, tax-paying and patriotic Brits whose ancestors actually built this country then you must be treated very differently.
You are considered a threat.
You are considered dangerous.
You are considered divisive.
You are considered evil.
The very same state that has pushed people to the very edge - by refusing to fix the borders, by flooding the country with 200,000 illegals, by unleashing mass sexual assaults, by entrenching two-tier justice - now demands that the people who have to live with this do not say anything about it at all.
And if they do protest, then they must feel the full force of the law in a way that others do not.
The majority must be policed while minorities are protected.
Facial Recognition technology.
Revised CPS guidance.
Countless more police.
Warnings from politicians.
The only silver lining is that now, today, everybody can see it.
Everybody can see what is happening. It’s out in the open.
The bias is unavoidable.
And everybody has had enough.
Keir Starmer and the British state clearly hate many of their fellow citizens.
They clearly do not view people who happen to hold different views as legitimate.
But by treating them in this way they are only ensuring that the numbers of those who do choose to protest tomorrow spiral to levels they can no longer contain, silence, ignore, or dismiss.
It doesn't matter what fancy words they use to describe it, this is just another TAX.
...a tax on tourism and in fact all types of overnight stays, whether leisure, business or visiting friends & relatives.
Only Labour can believe the way to 'help' a sector is to tax it more!
The right
Hope the victims will be ok after being stabbed
The left
Hope the terrorist will be ok after being kicked
If your default position is with the welfare of the terrorist & not those he knifed, you are morally bankrupt, a lawyer. Or both
Either way, you are scum
Just pointing out that I broke the story 7 months ago that Mandelson failed vetting from the security services and put it to Downing Street...so the idea that Downing Street only found out on Tuesday is complete nonsense.
