This is a Sticky of some of my posts that were popular. I will keep adding to this thread as a way to organize my tweets and thoughts. Feel free to let me know if I missed any important tweet, thread etc.
Yeah. As I keep saying Auction price is not correct indicator of market price. Even those who are second bidder will not pay 70% of what thr auction went for. Auction is a dirty game and needs a lot of sophistication.
But still names like ete should go for 45 today if you try to liquidate using the resale brokers?
@4Ldotcom Aligns with my thought about the 3L market
XIRR is pretty low despite the price you paid. Like 35K for ETE sounds like a deal today
I think you could probably liquidate at a much higher return at todayβs prevailing wholesale, what do you think.
Sure, why not? Including my latest sale, the average yearly return on my portfolio of three-letter .com domains is 5.63% (XIRR). The calculation uses the actual purchase and sale dates, and unsold domains are valued at their original purchase cost.
I currently have 105 domains in my portfolio:
Good letters (only premium letters) - 22 domains.
Average letters (contain 1 or more of F/G/H/K and no bad letters) - 63 domains.
Bad letters (contain exactly one of J/Q/U/V/W/X/Y/Z) - 20 domains.
You forget that hair loss is not constant and that you continue to lose so the hair you think would have retained without minoxidil would not have retained without it in the first place. Minoxidil is a boon. Everybody using it knows that it is not a cure. But it can keep your hairline as long as you apply it.
What you lose would have fallen off long time ago
@AndreBergeronCA I canβt believe people assuming I am talking about something other than skinny jeans. Perhaps they feel something too ππππ
