After a busy fortnight in Canberra it was great to spend time at the Royal Adelaide Show.
The show is where the city meets the country, with producers from across Barker showcasing the best of regional South Australia.

A pleasure to officially open the 2025–26 bowls season with the Millicent Bowling Club today.
I was also pleased to present a $20k Stronger Communities Grant.
Congratulations to all involved in keeping this proud club going strong since 1929.

A big day of footy at Padthaway with Keith taking on Lucindale in the KNTFL.
Had fun on the BBQ lending a hand.
Congratulations to Keith who took the win despite trailing all day.

At Browns Well Footy Club today, 140 farmers doing it tough because of drought came together for a cuppa, a burger and most importantly, access to 1,070 bales of hay donated by the Rapid Relief Team.

Attended the 2025 National Drowning Report launch at Parliament House. Too many Aussies lose loved ones in preventable water incidents. This is a key reminder to prioritise water safety before summer. #WaterSafety#NationalDrowningReport#BackingBarker
I raised the desperate plight of drought impacted SA farmers.
The Federal and State Labor Gov should be stepping up to help, sadly they are not.
Thankfully the Rapid Relief Team is not waiting for Gov and is delivering much needed free fodder, thank God for them!
This morning I met with Yr 9 students from Kapunda High School during their visit to Parliament House in Canberra.
Fantastic to see young people from Barker experiencing our national institutions firsthand, learning about democracy and the role of Parliament in their lives.
With more than one million participants nationwide, it is time to see netball take its rightful place at the Brisbane 2032 Olympic Games. I’m proud to back this petition and encourage you to add your name.

This week is Scams Awareness Week and a reminder that scams can target anyone, anywhere, and cost Australians billions every year.
Whether it is a suspicious email, an unexpected phone call or a fake online deal, scammers are always looking for ways to trick you.
A number of new staff have recently joined my electorate office team at Murray Bridge - that means one thing, a Team Pasin induction, and nothing says induction like an iconic McCue’s legendary savoury slice.
As Murray Bridge as the Bunyip!
Backing locals into local jobs.
The Local Jobs, Local People program is offering grants between $50,000 and $250,000 to support practical projects that help people into work and meet workforce needs in our regions.

I joined members of the Lower Murray Vintage Engine and Machinery Club to present them with a $3k Stronger Communities Grant.
It will be used to purchase a defibrillator to help keep members safe while they continue restoring and preserving vintage machinery.
Great to be at Unity College in Murray Bridge today for the Murraylands Jobs, Skills and Careers Showcase.
With more than 400 people through the doors, it is fantastic to see so many local organisations and employers showcasing opportunities for training and careers.
Today on National Forestry Day we should pause to recognise the enormous contribution our forestry and forest products sector makes to the Australian economy.

Wonderful to visit Monash Primary School to present the students with a new Australian flag.
It was great to see the pride these young Aussies have in our national symbols.
Thanks to Principal Dee Barnett, staff and students for the warm welcome.
Yesterday I joined the Waikerie community to celebrate the opening of the new Riverfront Community Hub at the Waikerie Football Club.
Proud that the former Coalition Gov’s commitment of $1.5m through the Building Better Regions Fund acted as the catalyst to make it a reality.
Spent the morning at Renmark Square chatting with locals about issues that matter here in the Riverland from water and farming to cost of living and regional services.
Always value the chance to hear directly from the community.
Had a great time with the All Abilities Music Group in Murray Bridge. Singing, playing and even having a dance. Such a wonderful celebration of community and music.
