Since I started as an entrepreneur, I have started more kinds of companies than most people will ever do different 9-5s in their life.

Just to list a few…

Resale
Drop Shipping
Affiliate Marketing
Amazon FBA
Trading, Crypto, Options, Futures….. etc (my favorite and I will never stop)
Mowing Business
Wholesaling Real Estate
Flipping Real Estate
D2D
Marketing Agency
MLMs even, not proud of that.

The list goes on; even now I’m starting a power/soft washing business while trading almost daily.

The point is people think “shiny object syndrome,” and I won’t disagree completely….is the worst personality trait for someone wanting to be an entrepreneur.

The thing is, I’ve had the same opinion as Dan for a long time; it’s not about having to master ONE THING.

Now while this is absolutely a fantastic idea, why not save $5000-$10,000 from your current job and go all in on SOMETHING.

If you have enough to cover your bills for 6 months or so, that is plenty of time to make enough with your new business to be turning a profit unless you're starting some crazy industrial company or something like that. Go to YTU (YouTube University) and start following people on X that are already doing what you’re doing, giving out free knowledge.

Reach out to them, ask for phone calls. Preferably free, but spending money to get any question answered you may have is worth so much more than you think.

I’ve made 100s of connections simply by reaching out to random people doing what you’re doing and just be straightforward.

You can do it too; you’ll be surprised at how kind and willing to help some people are too, not even charging you for your time. Those are the real Goats.

Whatever you do first, stick with it long enough to make a decent chunk of money if you’re wanting to try a new venture. Always put more money back to cover bills over time, and I promise you, your life will be much more enjoyable than you think even if things get hard and you start to feel like you’re failing sometimes.

KEEP GOING.

If all else fails and money gets too tight, ring your old boss, or competitor and run it up again with however much you need for what you’d like to do next.

Eventually after a few ventures, you’ll begin to be happier knowing if it works out in the end or not, and you make your own version of “Success” you will be happier knowing one day when you're laying on your deathbed that even if it didn’t work…you tried and that’s a lot more than most people can say.

I promise you won’t regret it.

GET RID OF COMFORTABILITY.

Once you go all in on a venture, become good at it quickly. In reality, most businesses aren’t hard to learn or run, just takes time and the experience which you can quickly obtain by spending all the time you were spending at your 9-5 on your current venture. But don’t stop at 5 keep going… this is how you elevate above the norm.

Is this risky? Absolutely.

I didn’t say that every one of my businesses did fantastic and I never had to get help, but I can say most of them did make a good amount for me and has allowed me to live a life I love more than I can describe.

You have one life… one. There are no 2nd tries; go for something bigger than yourself.

Find your purpose.
