Unfortunately it happens far too regularly in the regions and is of great concern as well during an emergency. Greater battery life and back up power supply for critical infrastructure including mobile phone towers and fixed line nodes is urgently needed.
There was some very intense storms in the area in late February which filled the lake. Currently it’s very fresh but salinity will probably increase a little as the level falls. The depth is on average around 1.8 metres with excellent visability. A great feature and resource.
