Hosted by the ever-articulate Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, the 'Data on Trial' event in Lagos wasn't just another stakeholder meeting—it was a courageous, courtroom-style inquiry that put the telecommunications giant in the dock to face the public directly.
Transparency in Action: Kudos to MTN Nigeria for ‘Data on Trial’ 📱⚖️
I was incredibly impressed to see MTN Nigeria take a bold, unconventional step in addressing one of the most persistent conversations in our digital space: data consumption.
I was pleased to receive the team from the Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC), who are in Enugu as part of the 2026 Nationwide Data Verification Exercise.
We had a useful conversation about their ongoing review of how FAAC revenue is shared among states and local governments. This work is important in ensuring fairness and that Enugu State is properly reflected in national planning and resource allocation.

Senegal 2026 total budget: $13.2bn
Their fuel subsidy payment for 2026: $15.3bn
Fuel subsidy for Senegal is more than the total country’s budget by over $2bn
Senegal will totally collapse if they don’t stop fuel subsidy this week.
Thank you BAT for saving us!

I’ve been quietly working on a book about Autism! My goal isn’t to sell anything right now, I just want to start honest conversations, break down barriers, build a community of true allies. This project is all about spreading real understanding and acceptance for neurodiversity.

The Lagos State Government has warned residents against consuming spoiled or fungus-infested tomatoes, popularly known as “Ata Esha,” citing serious health risks associated with such products.
Cooking, boiling, or frying contaminated tomatoes don't eliminate the harmful toxins.
Note: The law is clear—the Supreme Court is the final arbiter. Any attempt to circumvent its ruling by creating "interim" committees is an exercise in futility that ends in criminal liability and political extinction.
