@MTWnhs My mother had dementia and I tried to look after her. Memory cafes, sing songs and stuff, well meaning but all completely pointless for her. If only there had been some actual education for carers on how to deal with various situations my life would have been so much easier.
@BBCNews Soon have to book an appointment at the pharmacist. I'm sure I overheard someone doing just that the other day. Government will do anything rather than sort out the NHS. How about permission for Vets to treat humans,I'd trust them anyday.
@BBCNews Good. Perhaps that will be an end to all the nagging to get us to have the test. It's been known for ages that more people die WITH prostrate cancer than OF prostrate cancer.
@skytv When I was young we were told that watching too much TV would give us square eyes. There were only three channels and they didn't work at night.
People are still talking unscientific bollocks about new technology.
@SkyNews The Americans are reaching for the stars and the best we can do in the UK is to ban tumble dryers and not build a high speed rail line. Pathetic. Where is our vision?
@mamith1988@SkyNews@BethRigby Are any of them up to the job? It's like having work experience people trying to run a multi billion turnover business. Except the work experience people would probably have more idea.
@SkyNews@pkelso Brexit was only a mistake because the government proved it was incapable of implementing it. They had no plan.
Whoever they are, they never have a plan for anything. They are all hopeless and couldn't run a sweet shop.
