Excited to see announcement on RFK site. Like the experience of baseball on the Capitol Riverfront, Mayor Bowser’s plan for football and mix-use on the site makes good sense and will be a huge plus for DC, growing a sustainable economy supporting critical services.
Deeply saddened to hear we’ve lost Ethel Kennedy, longtime champion for DC. The Queen is the Anacostia, she was a tireless fighter for environmental progress and justice. Diane and I will miss her.
@MayorBowser Diane and I are sorry to hear this. Joe Bowser was an outstanding husband, first father, and leader in ways to numerous to mention. Great cities and neighborhoods are founded on leaders like him. I was honored to have his support.
Big Lew. #73. We miss you and are blessed by your memory. Visited Joshua Tree last week and I know you were laughing, remembering us baking out there in Dad’s cabin.
Celebrating 5 years of the DC Policy Center. Thanks to Sandy, Yesim, founders, and of course, the hardest working man in policy business — Kevin Clinton.
TCM’s Ben Mankiewicz @BenMank77 remembers Sidney Poitier, who got his first Hollywood role in director Joseph Mankiewicz’s “No Way Out” in 1950. https://t.co/27WAsdRIvA
FC2 Salutes The Honorable Robert J. Dole: https://t.co/aaDie7Hhdm. Bob Dole, along with so many things, was a big believer in Greater Washington and a great President of the Federal City Council of DC! His life is a blessing for us all.
My family and I are saddened to hear of the death of Diane Bernstein, a wonderful lady and great supporter of DC families. She will be missed. We love you!
