@jermdemo When done well docker files indeed serve this purpose. If you just import something open source and donβt check the source not really. Itβs like buying a car but you donβt know anything about it.
@biodiversityge1@nanopore Itβs definitely tiring to see a sort of reluctance and close mindedness when it comes to progress in certain areas. Much easier to speak from a confident ivory tower than being humble and saying βI donβt knowβ and exploring the current state of the art.
@GergelyOrosz Iβve notice a similar pattern when going to other cities in Europe. Itβs refreshing to see the impact of regulation on fair competition without sacrificing the user experience much at all.
With the maturation of software ecosystems in various areas of technology, the barrier to entry is becoming increasingly smaller to start adopting new technologies.
Some things to consider:
π₯ THE OPPORTUNITY π₯ Translating capacities in software, data and AI into concrete realities in domains ripe for technological innovation such as biotech and healthcare. [6/7]
In a world which has increasingly fast expansions of fields, domains and expertises, being able to listen, ask questions and keep an open mind will be key traits of future innovators [8/8]
Something that has been on my mind as I have read this controversial paper is: what is next for science and innovation? 𧡠Below:

On a regular day I will navigate the areas of genetics, cloud computing, cyber security, healthcare, life sciences, data engineer, data warehousing and many more fields, all with their own terminologies and dogmas [7/8]
