@LeahA_White@marksandspencer We equally stopped using it. They closed the M&S where we live a few years ago but will still buy things online if there was a good offer. Now all it is, is getting a gift card if you spend a certain amount which we don’t see as a good offer.
@florianederer But it’s stupid as if you live in a different country you just won’t travel as you don’t know if you’ll get tickets or not. Might work for national event. Not if you also have to spend thousands to travel - it’s a risk many won’t take and why hotels are suffering.
@Benjwinst@thebullensview It was looking like 7-8 until the last 6 weeks and now more like 4. It’s doesn’t help that the football is turgid… you wouldn’t mind if you got results but it’s expensive, horrible to watch and not in any way entertaining.
@AIlEverton There’s always the excuse that we don’t want to play too many games as we have a small squad… yet we want to play in Europe which would mean so many more games. It just doesn’t make sense.
@Richlloyd1984 The problem is, it’s turgid football. It’s a sport and it’s supposed to be entertaining. I just constantly feel bored watching it and have done for many years! It would be ok if we won things, but we don’t.
@henrywinter Salisbury clearly isn’t up to it - he was the one on VAR a couple of weeks ago and didn’t give the penalty for handball for Everton v West Ham.
@ChildersRadio As an overseas visitor, the drip feeding of tickets rather than all in one go has made any planning impossible, which given the cost to go and large distance between venues means it’s just not worth the effort.
@SOS1878 Apparently there aren’t… if Villa come 5th and win the europa league then we get an extra champions league spot… however it turns out we lose a europa league spot so no benefit to us. We need city to win the fa cup for it to go to 8th
@HenryBushnell@mjshrimper Other than to try and get more money, drip feeding tickets doesn’t work. You aren’t going to spend a fortune travelling from overseas if you don’t know what tickets you can get, especially in such a big country, so unless you’ve got tickets you just wouldn’t take the risk.
@FollowEverton If they win and finish 5th, then the extra Champions League spot for England being top of the coefficient table goes to 6th place and then everything else drops down a position. Don’t know why, but it does!
