The best way to never make too much money is to try and make it from too many places.

Imagine it's 5:30 AM.

Your alarm goes off. You drag yourself out of bed and make a promise you'll probably regret in 20 minutes.

"Today, I'm finally going to work out."

You grab your phone, open your fitness app, and are immediately greeted with 15 menus, 30 categories, hundreds of workouts, and no clue where to start.

So you do what most people do.

You close the app.

As designers, we often assume users quit because they lack discipline.

Sometimes, they quit because we made the first step too difficult.

That thought inspired this concept.

Instead of asking users to think, I wanted the interface to help them decide.

The featured workout catches your attention immediately.

Recommended sessions are right below, ready to play.

A live class reminds you that you're joining others, not exercising alone.

Search is there when you need it, but it stays out of your way when you don't.

The goal isn't to impress users with features.

The goal is to remove enough friction that hitting "Play" becomes the easiest decision they make all morning.

One thing I've learned over the years is that great product design often isn't about creating more.

It's about creating less confusion.

And sometimes, that tiny difference is what turns an abandoned app into a daily habit.

A lot of designers are too pigeon-holed in their 9-5, you need to experiment, CREATE time for self-initiated projects, this is probably the only way to stay relevant and materially advance your skill.

The monotony of your 9-5 is not helping your creativity especially if you already have a design system.

The only instance this advice doesn’t apply is if you are constantly dealing with new problems you need to translate to deisgn at work.

Today’s build moment with Mycarmeko made me pause for a second.

What you’re seeing in this recording is not just a prototype. It is an actual implementation of my design using Agentic AI. And one detail I find especially interesting is how the interface adapts smoothly across states and interactions. The layout responds naturally, components maintain their hierarchy, and the overall experience stays consistent as the screen changes.

That responsiveness is not accidental. It comes from designing with structure and clarity from the beginning. When the design system is thoughtful and the layout logic is sound, AI tools can translate that thinking into working interfaces much faster.

This is one of the most fascinating shifts happening in product design today.

AI is beginning to extend the designer’s workflow. What used to take hours of manual setup between design and development can now move much faster. Designers can move from idea to interaction quickly, test flows sooner, and iterate with less friction.

Prototyping is no longer just about static frames or clickable screens. It is becoming closer to living products much earlier in the process.

For me, the real takeaway is this.

The designers who will remain relevant in this new era are not the ones competing with AI. They are the ones who understand how to work with it, guide it, and integrate it into their creative process.

Tools evolve. What matters is the thinking behind the work.
