@GatesheadFC Well done to everyone involved in putting this together and looks as if Stephen had a big role in bringing in Flacks and hopefully we all don’t forget this in our obvious joy in this news. Stephen at times taken abuse and in my opinion transparent throughout and a genuine lad.

@Heed_Army Great information on Flacks online. Specialise in taking over companies in the position Gateshead find themselves in.

@CalTalksNL Until players paid and a structure in place to see the season out doubt we will see any Manager appointed.

@jarrow_fc Ground staff deserve a medal for the condition of pitch

@GatesheadFC So much effort put in on Saturday and so many miles in the tanks took its toll. I think South Shields didn’t play on Saturday so a lot fresher and could be seen. Friendly games are not about results if it was we would never have played premier league team on Saturday before game

@GatesheadFC @adzinho_ Outstanding young Keeper fabulous shot stopper.

@DurhamCricket I suppose you could look at it a different way. Central contractor paid by ECB so no obligation to agree to Ben playing for Durham in any capacity. I have no doubt his form for Durham in both bowling and batting aligned to England performance has dictated to ensure no injury.
