So this is it!! I'm not posting because this is an amazing picture, but because it's an amazing bird! This is the Red-Cockaded Woodpecker and it is super rare (though in 2024 it moved from endangered to threatened). It's easy to mistake it for a downy but you can see the differences on the facial markings. These guys only nest inside living pines, preferably ones with red heart fungus because it makes it easier for them to excavate and make its home. This was a big one, maybe even THE big one for me up to this point and I couldn't be happier

Our family just voted straight Republicans. Ten years ago, we came from Vietnam where my parents almost lost their lives trying to escape communism. That was their childhood. My childhood was being shoved with the idea that communism is the answer to everything. Freedom of speech does not exist in a communist regime.

If we have never experienced freedom, we would never know what it is. If people have never lost their freedom, they would never know what it feels like.

Now we have a chance to stand for what is right and preserve the values that built America.

We are proud to vote for common sense, for strong border, school choice, for unborn babies, for preserving what God has intended,

For Andy Biggs who will save Arizona from the liberal lunatics,

And for Charlie.
