@dlchief58@Jese_PowerGPU Never said that needed to be the case 🫡
I only said that if Marathon fails Sony would likely be way more inclined to dissolve/absorb the studio than turn around and green light D3 which comes with a potentially absurd price tag.
“Marathon will never be Destiny”
Correct - they’re two completely different genres, however it’s incredible how quickly everyone forgets how bad D2 was in the beginning in almost every aspect, but look what it turned into.
Marathon also has that same opportunity.
@ZxEffects@Jese_PowerGPU They’re both completely different genres. You’re comparing a brand new game to a game that’s been around for a decade.
When D2 first released it was terrible, in almost every aspect, but look what it turned into - eventually.
Marathon can also see that kind of growth.
@ZxEffects@Jese_PowerGPU Praying for a game you don’t enjoy to fail to try and get a studio already struggling to then produce a game you want isn’t very smart.
If marathon fails there is close to 0% chance Sony turns around and goes OMG D3 YES!
Bungie will cease to exist.
@ClintFrancisco@A2Jackson@MagicJohnson Mentioned games 1-2 specifically on top of 3 and 4. You’re right it’s not a discussion when your reading comprehension is sub par. 🫡
@ClintFrancisco@A2Jackson@MagicJohnson Detroit certainly didn’t do enough to win, horrendous Q3 but outscored Cavs in the 3 other Qs and primarily scored in the paint to Cleveland who chucked 3s and still somehow ended with THAT historically lopsided foul stat. Non biased fans can even see the issue 🤣
@ClintFrancisco@A2Jackson@MagicJohnson Mitchell had more free throw attempts than the entire PISTONS TEAM in that game. It doesn’t have to be right down the middle but arguing that the last two games weren’t insanely favorable for Cleveland is just dumb. Games 1 and 2 weren’t even close to that egregious.
@ClintFrancisco@A2Jackson@MagicJohnson Are the corrections in the room with you? Fouls in both games in Detroit were 41-40 in favor of Cleveland. Last two games in Cleveland 52-33 in favor of you guessed it - Cleveland.
FT attempts last night alone 34-12 and yep you guessed it again in favor of the Cavs.
