Just read something that said, “Even the people who betray you are part of the plan.” Idk. I think early on in your journey or youth, yes this is possible…but at some point in the journey God’s “plan” wasn’t for them to hurt/betray/abandon you, it’s often that some just went rogue or simply failed the test: let fear win, reverted to old patterns, succumbed to the pressure of all that growth requires, and squandered their blessing…and you were ricocheted by their choice not to rise to the occasion. You represented a fork in the road in their life—an opportunity for them to recognize where change was needed, and they failed. We all have choices. Free will.
