Taking 30โ to reflect about the priorities of the day.
Hopefully saves me more in the end ๐

The best thing about real conversations is that you can ask follow-up questions. Get a real understanding of the need people have (or not).

Today I managed to get roughly to the 50/50 repartition between product & traction work.
Learning about all the web presence, SEO, page ranking etc... opening up a whole new world :)
@AlexanderTSTL my gust says:
I need this funnel. I need that feature. I need to learn more.
So I prefer my ratio saying: you need to spend 50% on traction ๐
On the train for a good old-fashioned discovery & brainstorming meeting. I love digital, but nothing beats real social interactions ๐

After years of sparse GitHub activity, this almost feels like coming home :)
I genuinely enjoy the the mix Product Management, Software Engineering & UX design AI allows. Not to replace design taste and production-level code, but as a way go further & deeper with my ideas!
One of the hardest things (as an engineer) is to look from the outside in vs. inside out. Understand how your (future) users look at your value offering rather than looking at how cool your solution is.
Lesson learned the hard way ๐

I use 1 quality metric for software - ease of reliable change. Because this allows you to tackle any other issue ๐
I really wonder how AI generated software will behave on this metric. Will it be any different from no & low-code platforms? Fast at 1st but quickly slowing down?
Most of us here should be posting for fun, (self-)accountability, public reflection or learning.
Only a fraction of us will find our ICP here.

Prove me wrong: asking an email before showing a demo movie is the best way to get huge drop off ๐

The biggest difference between coding & marketing is that coding is binary. A green test == success. Marketing is grey zone and defining success is way harder... ๐คฏ #buildinpublic#solopreneur
