Good morning and welcome to the official(?) #ToonTurfTober2026 !!

just like last time dont forget to use the tag on your art and the only rule is to have fun!!!

@ket_was_here Official 👍👑🔥💙

Also, in my eyes the pilot has a lot of weak spots but the fact that this is the only scene that gets reposted kinda makes me grateful? Like it could be MUCH worse, people could be clowning on the whole episode - genuinely I really believe I’m doing much better with the second one and I’m grateful for everyone who loved the pilot despite its flaws. Thank you :)💙

TW // I animated a shitty panic attack scene and twitter rightfully made fun of me for it 🙏💀

[Toon Turf Official @ToonTurf]

nah seriously tho I absolutely could’ve done this better - but even still since I wrote it in 2023 and it took 3 years to come out this trope became so overdone 🙏 hopefully it’ll play out better in episode 2, really trying to listen to criticism and improve every episode 💙

(Seriously though, it is actually insane how much pure talent there is. So many fantastic people, and a lot of them with very little to no credits. Genuinely excited to hopefully be even a small part in bringing them into a bigger spotlight)

[Toon Turf Official @ToonTurf]

Thank you so much for the over 400+ people who applied! Have been going through all the submissions for the first time and there's so many incredible people who I'm excited to potentially work with. A reminder that this will be closed in about a month and most likely won't run again for a while. Again, insanely grateful for everyone's interest and belief in the show. Thanks yall💙

🚨Casting Call! (Paid)🚨

Voice actors are needed for supporting roles in web series: "Toon Turf" episode 3 and beyond! (Episode 1 linked here for reference: https://t.co/ucADpvd01q )

Doing it this way for the first time - for awhile we were going about this differently through casting websites or other youtube friends who have voice acting experience or who have wanted to give it a try or just straight up fit a part lol - but recently realized I wanted to give a chance to a larger group of people who are looking for work or others who don’t know where to start, and because there’s a LOT of characters throughout Toon Turf that fill out the townsfolk while also needing very distinct personalities, and I know there’s no shortage of voice actors out there. Would rather give an opportunity to as many people as possible rather than resorting to constantly reusing the same people for multiple roles unless they’re a good fit.

All genders and ranges needed, age 18+ and must be able to self tape and be able to call on a platform like discord for short directed session(s). This is a PAID opportunity, although non-union, roughly set to $50 to $200 per hour (negotiable). Historically sessions have been 30 minutes or less for a large majority of parts but the rate will always be for the full hour of course.

Please DO NOT reply to this tweet to submit, instead use THIS form: https://t.co/yKQCMPx0vK Previous experience not required, but will need some example of voices or range to be able to match up with characters (or if a voice is good enough potentially creating characters just for the actor lol) but when I say we need EVERY type of voice I really mean EVERY type. If I do not respond immediately don’t worry! It doesn’t mean you’ve been rejected - currently we want to collect a large group to pull from to be able to fit into roles as they come up over time. Current casting deadline is October 25th but will potentially do more casting calls in the future as needed. Thanks yall :)💙👑

@SANTi_SHARP Contrary to popular belief, Jordan Runkey is still filed as a missing persons.

Happy Red Rabbit Day! 🩸🐰

[Toon Turf Official @ToonTurf]

@kyrian247 After a set pay is discussed so the contract can be filled in, it’s the first thing sent so actors can review it before any lines are recorded.

The final model for the Rosey plushie has been revealed in today’s stream.

[Toon Turf Official @ToonTurf]

maybe 2 weeks but it’ll be worth it

[Toon Turf Official @ToonTurf]

oh my gosh I just realized something I can do

delaying everything for this (it’ll take me a week tops)

[Toon Turf Official @ToonTurf]

@SANTi_SHARP Absolutely both

[Toon Turf Official @ToonTurf]

In case you missed the stream announcement: Toon Turf Minisodes will be released in between full episodes of Toon Turf to further expand on the lore and stories of characters, and to overall give more depth and (filler) to the show and it's world :)) It will not affect the development time of actual episodes since they are very small and self-contained projects, but I think you'll really enjoy them nonetheless 💙
