@MagpieMediaX Haddaway man. Champions League twice. Trophy. I repeat. TROPHY. Eddie was seriously let down in the last 2 transfer windows. Just chill and enjoy next season. You've not experienced real hardship yet, i.e. Mckeag, George Forbes etc.
@The_Looney_Toon Dropped for his defending v Bournemouth. That first goal was criminal. Tuchel seeing that would not be impressed. Also, Burn brought in v Arsenal for obvious reasons. Have a day off, mate.
@NUFCLC There was one big difference. Villa had a centre forward. We played the whole season without one. We never recovered from a shambolic transfer window. We need to put that right over the next few weeks and then watch Eddie prosper. He was let down last summer.
@birks_wayn10549@geordiejosh@SkySports_Keith@CraigHope_DM I remember when Nobby Solano came to #NUFC In his first season, he was pretty terrible. Look what happened after that. He was the brain of our team for years. There is something there with Woltemade. Watch this space.
@geordiejosh@AnfieldEye The correct phrase is:
✅ “After the way he has been treated.”
Because after “has been”, you again need the past participle form:
treat → treated
You could also say:
“After the way he has been treated by them…”
“Considering the way he has been treated…”
@wantabiggerboat@ScottyTalksToon@thomashammond__@BobbyBenjong I'd start Burn, but instead of Botman, who I think had been poor lately. Also, Hall was awful against Bournemouth so maybe just needed a rest or a kick up the arse. The defending for the first goal was shocking. If that had been Burn, you would have been on him in a flash.
