BREAKING: Manchester City have reached an agreement with Palmeiras over the signing of Allan 🚨
The deal for the winger is worth up to £34m. City are paying fixed fee of £32m plus £2m in add-ons.
Roy Keane on the penalty decision:
🗣️ Roy Keane: “For me, that is not a penalty. I’m sorry, but Newcastle have been completely robbed here. Their knees collide that’s what happens in a football match when two players are competing for the ball. What exactly was Lewis Hall supposed to do? Stand still and allow the attacker to run through and score?
“There’s no obvious push, no deliberate trip, no reckless challenge. Their knees simply clatter together and Victor Munoz goes down. We’ve seen contact like that a thousand times without a penalty being given. I don’t understand how VAR looks at that and decides Newcastle should be punished.
“Newcastle had this game won. They played well enough to take all three points, defended for their lives and deserved the victory… Newcastle have been robbed of a win, while Liverpool have been handed a lifeline by the officials.”

Just remembered we didn’t get a pen for this last season but that was given today.
One rule for the “big 6” another for the rest.
New season, same old @PGMOL_FA as fair and consistent as always.
