In the Disney Villain Bible they say something crucial to their stories is a fundamental sense of unfairness. Cinderella’s dress being torn, Ariel’s Grotto being destroyed, Aladdin being betrayed by Jafar etc. It provokes a reaction from the audience and also makes the victim vulnerable in a way that gets us fully on their side.
And in my opinion, this is something that newer Disney movies are missing (which I talk more about here, if anyone is interested!)
Can we as a society PLEASE make every one of the disney live action remakes flop in theatres so we dont have to see another of this monstrocity
THEY ALMOST STOPPED WHEN SNOW WHITE FLOPPED BUT MILLENIALS GOT NOSTALGIA BAITED BY STITCH💀
The live-action ‘MOANA’ film remakes the original animated film into something that is so heartless & ugly that it's almost insulting.
