Gutted he left Newcastle - one poor season shouldn't define his legacy or ability. Honestly think he would make Man United a powerhouse again.

[Dayle @Bazro10]

Don’t think Man Utd will go for Howe, can see them trying a ‘name’ again, proven winner etc

But, I actually think their side would be well suited to Howe when they’re fit, albeit their defence is awful

[Carter @Toonmode]

as a #nufc fan , i'd love it but always hate it if you got him. but it would put egg on a alot our fan base like it did with Sir Bobby and king kev

[United 4Fans @United4fans]

I actually think Eddie Howe would be a much better choice than Conte

Conte failed at every premier league job. Howe worked miracles at Newcastle

#MUFC

[Davey Beardsley 🧟‍♂️ @daveynicnufc]

We gambled this summer and lost a proper proven manager, sold all or assets and bought loads of young unproven foreign players with sell on value, that puts us at risk of relegation. ring any bells?
Its like Mike Ashley is back in charge ffs! #nufc

[Carter @Toonmode]

@premierleague why is Arteta always allowed out of his box? @SkySportsPL #AFC

[Jack @ljabeey]

Only know you've been high when you're feeling low
Only hate the road when you're missing home
Only know you love her when you let her go

[Big G @EastStandG]

@The_Looney_Toon So 1 bad patch in all those years. Qualified for champion league twice. Won our 1st trophy in most people’s lifetime. Think he deserved more from online fans. I’m only glad he never got pelters at games. Forever a legend at #nufc and deserves more respect from online fans.

Someone has sent me this bingo card for the Reform documentary on ITV tomorrow night. Dabbers at the ready …

[Carter @Toonmode]

@SGW1973toon he was our Fergie/ Wenger rolled in to one

[SGW⚫️⚪️⚫️⚪️ @SGW1973toon]

I want Jaissle to succeed but I said it at the time we made a mistake letting him go!

Now he’s linked with Man Utd

[Carter @Toonmode]

@NUFC The grass isn't always greener #nufc

[Carter @Toonmode]

#nufc he didn't run his race, we had a small squad that was stretched by how hard we went in cups.once we got a injury to one player then the replacements normally then had one so hardly any back up

Sir fergie the greatest finished 12th twice, we'll miss him

[Chris Black @ChrisBlack10]

Important to clarify Eddie had run his race he was done.

My issue was some had called for him to go for years before and you didn’t know how good you had it. You’re finding out more each week.

This guy won’t see Christmas #nufc

[James @james4567891011]

This Jaissle #nufc side is everything the fickle, entitled 'Howe out' brigade deserve. They contributed to the departure of our most successful manager for 50+ years, now reap what you sow...

[Malcolm Macdonald ⚫⚪ @themagicbeatle]

This man got it. Understand us, sacrificed his health and his family. And some of our fans spat in his face. The best manager of my lifetime.

[NUFC 🇸🇦🇬🇧 @nufc1892fc]

All of Eddie howes hard work has well and truly just been flushed down the shitter. #nufc

[Chris Black @ChrisBlack10]

Some of you chased the best manager of your lifetime out the door cos you wanted something new and exciting. This is your new and exciting. Keep following him & you’ll follow him off a cliff. He’s no good. This end won’t end well #NUFC

[Carter @Toonmode]

#nufc get him home

[Leo Bridges NUFC @BridgesLeo123]

Howe was never the problem.

[Carter @Toonmode]

#nufc @Im_RobM and @ToonTakeover_ crying all over twitter when they caused it
