In what will be a surprise to noone, I love arranged soundtracks for 90s video games. Capcom's house band, Alph-Lyla, did some great ones like the first Mega Man X / Rockman X soundtrack.

Part jazz fusion, part moody synth electronica, it goes hard. So does the booklet.

Finished Megaman Legends for the first time last night and, clunky controls aside, what a game. Criminal it's not accessible on modern consoles.

Obviously I'm a little biased as a guy who made a literal album about Resident Evil 3, but Capcom were absolutely killing it in the '90s. This video is such a great testament to that.
