can’t believe this even has to be stated but there is plenty of good music that doesn’t chart simply bc it’s not as accessible or marketed as music that charts
But I can see you’re a slop Stan war user on a Kendrick hate bender. So don’t mind me or my logic✌🏿
@Top5Troy What he is saying is if it is so good then people would be listening to it like they do his other trash albums . I’m not a Kendra fan at all but there are a few of his albums still charting on billboard so if TPAB was soon good shouldn’t it chart like the other 4 albums ?
Charting in 2026 is mostly a reflection of streaming and radio play which can be influenced by payola, networking, and other manipulative factors.
It isn’t reflective of quality. This has always been understood especially in Rap. Not really sure why this has to be restated for your generation
@mElonMario01 ok I understand why you’re not getting it. You’re stuck in “Kendrick vs Drake” mode. I don’t give a fuck about either of them like that im this convo. I’ve been speaking in general
that lends to my point even more. Charting is a big industry handshake. It’s not reflective of quality. And with all the manipulation, charting isn’t even a pure reflection how many people are actually listening to a given artist or album.
It’s a facade but for some reason you use it to determine what’s “better”.
That’s your prerogative tho do you👍🏿
@Top5Troy The best music among people with the same exposure is in fact the music charting.
Kendrick has equal exposure to Drake, more now than ever.
If 6 of Drake's albums are out streaming Kendricks best album (GKMC), then it means those are better albums.
Same thing for the songs.
We have degraded so harshly that ppl actually believe that the best music charts ie “If it’s so good, why don’t more people listen?”
We are in the most advanced age of information, but somehow producing the dumbest people.
It’s crazy
@JamesAldousCOOK@DeejayErratic oh don’t expect it to move you we know you’re retarded. This is for everyone watching so they know where I stood all these year ✌🏿
Ray Daniels agreed that, Kendrick Lamar’s “to pimp a butterfly” album was over hyped. They said, most people didn’t wanna be honest about the album, but according to them, majority of the people didn’t like the album. I never understood the hype behind that album; obviously, Kendrick Lamar’s “alright” is a big song in the culture but, that album is not what people claim to be. Even when, I look at the billboard 200, I can’t find it there, and the album is not that old, it came out in 2015, so if that album is that good as some people claim to be, it should still chart on the billboard 200.

You must not know Kendrick bc the first project that was promoted and sold as an album was OD, then Section80 was promoted and sold as an album. The GKMV was considered his debut album.
I’ve been listening to Kendrick longer than you, spent more
Money on albums, been to more shows. There’s absolutely nothing you can tell me about Kendrick’s music
