@HMRCcustomers In my original tweet I said that I already called 1st to inform them that she was blind and they said they'd send a cheque out and receive within about 10 working days but nothing rcd. I tried calling yesterday but couldn't get any option to speak to someone. I'll snail mail.
I called alongside my Mother to say she is registered blind. The guy who dealt with the call said she was due a tax refund which would be sent out. Now rcd a letter saying 'request online & you should get your refund within 5 working days'. Need help please @HMRCcustomers
@HMRCcustomers I'm not familiar with Twitter so getting confused here. I'd replied to say she is in her 80's and registered blind so no driving license, nor valid passport, nor cc, nor mobile phone contract, can't download apps. Neither verify or the link given p800refund works without these.
@HMRCcustomers The only option that she has is a debit card. No valid passport or driving license. She's registered blind and in her 80's - not got a cc or mobile phone contract either nor can download apps. Please consider this in your reply.
@HMRCcustomers I've gone to the verify account setup option. It asks for valid passport, driving license a cc/debit card. I select debit card as the only option and it says you need more evidence. We are going round in circles - please provide the cheque for the refund, don't have this info.
@HMRCcustomers Have also tried webchat many times but never available. Please can a cheque be issued to my Mother for the refund. This process is too complicated for someone registered blind and taking up so much of my time trying to sort this out on her behalf. V frustrating, please help.
@HMRCcustomers I was with her yesterday when we tried to call HMRC to ask about this. The robot qu's ended up just cutting us off. Tried several options and no way to get to speak to someone about this without knowing how to unlock some mystery option to speak to someone if that's possible.

Yesterday #TheSocialDilemma opened my eyes to how social media actually works 😯. Today I find myself learning (from the very knowledgeable @PaulOMahony) how to leverage social media to serve more people more completely every day😇! #givingisliving#rethinkandgrowrich
