Rod Wave says a certain sports agency tried to convince 2 artists from his city to sign with them by getting the to meet him free at a concert. Offering gifts as an incentive to get a college athlete to sign with you is an illegal practice for anyone who did not know.

Now no names were said but ROC Nation has been known to set up deals similarly to this(allegedly). Allegedly using artists like Beyonce, Rihanna, Dj Khaled, Jay-Z, etc in order to coerce people to sign with management, label, or sports agency. Rod did not say he as speaking about ROC Nation but regardless these immoral business practices do take place in the industry.

“Sign to me and you can be partying with Beyoncé and fkn on Meg by tomorrow” (hypothetical statement).

What are your thoughts on companies praying on up and coming athletes and celebrities by enticing them with being able to be in celebrity circles. Has nothing to do with what they can do for you financially or business wise but they can make you famous for whatever that’s worth.
