Huh? Fremantle's on 44 points, 11-1, Collinwood's on 22 points, 5-6 (plus a draw). Unless you're talking about all teams who have been in 11th at least once?
Likely, the audience for this game skews heavily towards console gamers instead of PC gamers, probably by a factor of 2-4x.
Steam concurrent player number count multipliers for estimated sales have been pretty consistent over the years, no matter the game, even with multiplatform releases... which is about a 5-15X multiplier. Higher multipliers are used for console-heavy games. This time it's over a 22x multiplier vs. Steam concurrent numbers, which is a huge outlier.
This means that either the studio is lying, which is unlikely, or that PC game sales were weak compared to console sales.
It could just be consumer preferences of PC gamers, which I am, vs console gamers, which I am not.
From player sentiments, console gamers tend to prefer closed gaming experiences where there is a tight narrative, flashy set pieces, scripted gameplay, and a more cinematic game-movie experience.
PC gamers tend to prefer deeper systems, more replayability, sandbox freedom, and tend to log in more hours per game than console gamers.
@MathRockSucked Yorch's birth name is Jorge (I have a Mexican American friend who told me Jorge's call themselves Yorch). He hates it. You could call him Jorge to piss him off even more.
I've had enough of @SamsungMobile giving me no opt out of installing Firefox, Vita Mahjong and Block Blast on my phone every time it updates. I just delete them, only for them to install at the next software update. Could complain to the ACCC if it keeps going.
