Do you understand how value betting works mate?

We backed it at Evens and it went off 8/13. That’s a massive difference in price.

The whole point is backing horses at bigger odds than their true chance of winning.

The result doesn’t suddenly make it a bad bet. You judge the decision, not just the outcome of the race

Really don’t understand why Buick opted to lead this race?

That just meant Oisin was going to move to his outside and pace pressure him very early knowing he’s on a strong stayer?

Buick had the quickest horse, the last thing he didn’t want was to get in a duel from a long way out - which is exactly what happened. And they both became vulnerable to something finishing from behind.
