In Kasese, our mobilization team welcomed and registered new members into the National Unity Platform.
We are very grateful to them for their continued efforts to further the message of change in the region.
In a related development, comrade Shakirah Nambozo alias #ShukyWaBobi has been abducted from her home in Kawempe by armed men travelling in a Toyota mini-van (Drone). Her whereabouts at present are unknown. #BringBackOurPeople
How @HEBobiwine answers my questions on;
- Homophobic MPs from our party who voted for the draconian Anti-Homosexuality Bill.
- Quid pro quo politics of @MathiasMpuuga as LOP.
- Inclusiveness as our core value.

Human Rights Are Non Negotiable.
UPDATE: Following his arrest by soldiers the other day, comrade Magala Umar was yesterday afternoon taken to his home in Kawempe and a search 'conducted' of the house after putting his wife and children under immense intimidation.
According to the information we have, once the armed men reached Umar's home, two of them with faces entirely hooded entered the house as the rest remained outside. They then ordered Umar's family members including his wife, children and brother whom they found inside the house to remain still. The two hooded men then went into his children's bedroom and placed there some items in two red shirts. Afterwards, the hooded men moved out of the house and now called the area's head of Defence and police officers to enter and conduct a search.
They then drew up a Search Certificate indicating that they had purportedly 'recovered' two red shirts and "two black bottles...containing nails and gasoline" from Umar's house, and then forced him and his wife to sign it infront of the terrified family. The intention is clear; like they have done with many NUP leaders, they will probably claim that Umar was involved in terrorist activity and make him yet another statistic in their long list of trumped-up cases targeting NUP supporters. But in the end, there will be accountability for all this abuse. #FreeAllPoliticalPrisoners #BringBackOurPeople
We concluded our tour of Eastern Uganda with a meeting of the @NUP_Ug leaders from Busoga Sub-region at our regional office in Jinja City. We discussed various matters of great interest to the cause and re-energised the team. We are glad to note that the team is now more united in purpose. We charged them to continue mobilising our people for the final push against dictatorship and misrule. Very grateful to them for continuing to push the cause despite the prevailing challenges.
#PeoplePowerOurPower
Bilateral engagement between the President of Belarus @Tsihanouskaya and the President of Uganda @HEBobiwine to discuss removal of dictators in Europe and in Africa.
Comrade Magala Umar, former NUP Registrar of Kawempe North and current Chairperson of our Kunga Mobilisation Team in the constituency, was arrested from KCCA City Hall by security operatives from JATT and CMI. He is currently being detained at the CMI headquarters in Mbuya on unknown but politically-motivated charges. Our teams have since been denied access to him. We demand for his immediate and unconditional release from political detention! #FreeAllPoliticalPrisoners #BringBackOurPeople
